Just another enjoyable week here at Riverside.
Tuesday night was our “Math Knight” and we had a record turn out with 94 student participants. Many different math games/activities were introduced to parents. Several activities were made out of household items where parents could re-create their own games at home. We ended the evening by giving away our door prizes, where we distributed several math related board games where parent and child could work on math skills at home.
Thursday night was our Riverside Spooktacular Band concert featuring our fifth and sixth grade bands. As always, it is amazing how Mrs. Nill and Mr. Ridenour are able to have our fifth graders perform after just two months of practice. Hats off to them.

Sixth Grade
Fifth gradeThe Friday after school movie, sponsored by our KAB/PTA, was “Zookeeper”. This has been a productive fundraiser for our PTA. Last month’s movie, “Rio”, brought in over $900.00; which is used throughout the year to support student activities here at RMS.
MEAP IS DONE!!!! Dennis and I finished up our last two make-up tests today. MEAP will be shipped out on Monday.
The West wall is complete. Awnings are “supposed” to be installed next week.
