Happy Halloween.
Saturday, C. Adkins and Pat Milotz spend the day at Detroit Edison Public School Academy for the Project Learning Tree GreenSchools’ presentation. It was a very insightful presentation and we have many ideas that can be incorporated into the science and math classes. We were able to receive many cool things; FREE. One was a watts/amp meter that you plug into things while they are turned off and see much energy you are actually wasting while it is still plugged in. We also received, FREE, a Vending Miser that we are going to give to Eve to place on our vending machines. Lastly, we are now eligible to apply for a $1000 grant to implement a PLT GreenSchools initiative. We have a couple idea but we are going to leave the decision up to the Green Team to find out how we want to spend the money. Thank you Christina and Pat for joining me on this endeavor.

This week, I have another “Breakfast with the Principal”. If you have any topics that would be worth sharing, please send me a not before Thursday morning.
Tomorrow starts the “Fuel Up, play 60 Walking with the Principal”. Any and all was welcome to join me in walking laps around the building. I will start my trek around 7:30 AM.
MEAP IS DONE!!!! You will start to see Dennis in the halls and around the building. He is finishing packing everything up and getting ready to ship it out tomorrow.

Monday – 12:30 – Up stairs for the Fifth grade Halloween Extravaganza
Tuesday – All day – RESA ( I think Dennis is with me)
Wednesday – 2:00 - Meeting at C.O.
Thursday – 9:00 – Coffee with the Principal, 2:00 – IEP
Friday – All day @ RESA
