Thoughts for next year

As I sit here watching the Red Wings and developing my "Blog", I am thinking about how are we going to incorporate more Web 2.0 initiatives into our classrooms next year.  Knowing that the plan is to eventually have a smart board in every classroom within the next two years and a new COW in each wing, I am hoping that the staff will be excited about having the new technology in the classroom, use it appropriately, and that they do sign up for the 23 things in Web 2.0 from RESA.  The possibilities are endless with moving towards technological natives versus immigrants. We need to start preparing our students for the future.  With the new "Co Co's" driving what we do, we mustn't lose sight of what our students really need.
